Company hires for finance jobs in Boston

TA Associates has announced it has acquired key hires for finance jobs in Boston.
The global private equity firm has hired investment staff for its Boston and California offices.
The company said Ethan K. Liebermann and Emily C. McGinty have rejoined the firm as Vice Presidents in the Healthcare and Consumer Group in Boston. Jason S. Mironov has joined the firm as a Vice President in the Services Group in Menlo Park.
Liebermann focuses on investments in healthcare, consumer, retail and other services companies. Prior to attending graduate school, he served as an Associate at TA Associates, responsible for investment origination, transaction execution and portfolio management in the firm’s Healthcare and Consumer Group. Mr. Liebermann earlier served as an Analyst with Banc of America Securities in the Global Healthcare Corporate and Investment Banking Group. Mr. Liebermann received a BA in Economics and Biology from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
McGinty focuses on investments in consumer, education and other services companies. Prior to attending graduate school, she served as an Associate at TA Associates, responsible for investment origination, transaction execution and portfolio management in the firm’s Services Group, with a focus on the education and consumer sectors. Ms. McGinty was previously an Analyst with J.P. Morgan Securities in the Consumer, Healthcare and Retail Group. Ms. McGinty received a BA in Economics, summa cum laude, from Boston College, and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
