Mr. Harrison had previously been employed at Cullinan Engineering, a well-regarded civil engineering and land surveying firm with offices in of Auburn, Boston and Lakeville, MA, which recently closed its doors. He was a key part of the Cullinan team for 42 years, most recently serving as Branch Manager for its Boston Metropolitan Office, and the companies Chief Surveyor. Prior to that Mr. Harrison oversaw Cullinan’s surveying operations on Boston’s Central Artery/Tunnel project. Earlier he served as Surveying Department Manager for Cullinan’s corporate surveying division.

While at Cullinan Engineering, Harrison was in charge of surveys for many of Greater Boston’s institutions and developments. Among these are the Prudential Center complex, Copley Place, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston Medical Center, the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority, and Harvard University. Additionally, he led surveys in Worcester, MA for the Worcester City Campus Corporation, University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center, and University of Massachusetts Medical School.

Mr. Harrison is the immediate Past President of the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS), an organization in which he has been active since 1999. Wayne has the distinction of being an NSPS Fellow.

Wayne has also served in many leadership roles over the years with the Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers (MALSCE). He was honored by that group in 2005 as the “MALSCE Surveyor of the Year.”

“Having been a professional colleague of Wayne’s over the years I am excited about having a leader in the local surveying profession on our team. Wayne will continue to provide his past clients with the high standard of service and reliability that they have come to expect, and with DGT’s resources will bring continuity to the delivery of survey support to many high-profile projects in our region” says DGT Principal-in-Charge Michael A. Clifford, PLS.

DGT is not the only company hiring. Rackspace said recently it is hiring for a slew of jobs, including IT jobs in San Antonio.
