Eversave to hire for Boston jobs
Posted on July 18, 2011
The company Eversave has just been purchased for a cool $30 million and said this week it will be expanding its workforce and creating more Boston jobs.
Eversave is a daily deal site, much like Groupon and Living Social, except it differentiates itself with its target market and Eversave Extras program.
Connecticut-based Affinion purchased the savings company.
Affinion will acquire Wakefield-based Prospectiv Direct Inc., the online marketing company that started Eversave in April 2010.
Affinion operates membership and customer loyalty programs for corporate clients.
This allows us to build on the product set and service set we have, Prospectiv founder and CEO Jere Doyle told the Boston Herald. Well be hiring and expanding our workforce rapidly over the next year or two.
Prospectiv will double its workforce, mostly at Eversave.
Eversave can now be found in 20 markets, including Boston, and has plans for many new markets in the coming weeks and months.
For over a decade, (Prospectiv) has focused on affluent females, 25 to 55 years old, Doyle told the Herald. We also have a retention product which allows merchants to stay in touch with these (daily deal) consumers.
In other parts of the city, Valueclick is hiring for Boston jobs as well.
