The goal of the workshop blitz is to reach the target of 1,000 women trained since the launch of the workshops last fall. The workshops will take place in a variety of locations across Boston.
“It’s time to stop talking about the wage gap and time to start doing something about it,” said Mayor Walsh. “I am proud of the work we have done since we launched the workshops last fall, and to honor Equal Pay Day we will provide hundreds more women with the tools they need to close the wage gap.”
